Defense Contractor Website Design & Branding

Defense contractor website design and branding were at the core of our work with an AI-driven company specializing in XR-based simulation systems. This veteran-led team delivers deployable training solutions that combine digital twin technology, AI, and adaptive learning to meet the evolving needs of today’s Warfighter. To better showcase its innovation and credibility, veteren-led DOD contractor XRT turned to our creative web design agency for a modernized digital presence and a website that could tell its story with the authority and compliance expected in the defense industry.

A modern defense contractor website with a modern military feel.
THE CHALLENGE

An outdated brand and digital presence no longer reflected defense innovation

As the company transitioned from XR Training to its new name, XRT, leadership recognized that the brand and website no longer reflected its innovation or mission. The existing site was outdated, difficult to navigate, and carried a dark visual identity that didn’t align with the company’s forward-looking vision.

The company needed a modern defense contractor website design and brand refresh to:

  • Support the company’s renaming to XRT
  • Brighten the brand while keeping a professional, trusted look
  • Improve user experience with a clear site structure
  • Create a scalable platform to tell their story and showcase capabilities
THE SOLUTION

A modern defense contractor website and refreshed brand identity

Our women-owned creative agency designed a custom WordPress website built with flexibility in mind. The new site features a fresh, modern user experience with modular components to support future growth.

At the same time, we worked on a logo redesign to reflect the company’s renaming to XRT. The refined identity featured a brighter color palette, updated typography, and a simplified XRT wordmark, designed to stand out firmly across digital platforms and presentations.

12-week agile timeline, with weekly collaboration between our web design agency’s team and XRT leadership.

Agile 12-week timeline: Our web design agency’s team closely with XRT leadership in weekly sprints to ensure design and branding aligned at every stage.

Logo and visual identity refinement: Updated the logo for the XRT name, introduced lighter colors, and refreshed typography for brand consistency.
Custom WordPress build: Created a modular Elementor-based design system for flexibility and growth.
Improved user experience: Streamlined navigation and clarified content pathways for stakeholders, partners, and recruits.

  • A bright, professional brand system that differentiates them from competitors
  • A custom website with streamlined navigation and improved user experience
